and i think that what commissioner mendoza said is absolutely true, that the school district is not going to be able to deal with this on its own. there are so many different issues that have to be a part of the discussion. so, my suggestion would be that, that it may be through supervisor olague's office that we form a small working group of folks, and then come back, you know, to the committee, that we continue this item to the call of the chair so that we have an ongoing discussion. but i think it's really important to the members of the community who took the time to be here, to make sure that we don't drop this ball, if you will, and that we do -- that we continue to move this forward. i do want to acknowledge the deputy superintendent to see if he wants to add anything to this presentation. you know, it's not easy for a school district to have these issues discussed in this way, and i appreciate the fact that we are having the discussion and that the school district is a part of that. >> thank you. and we won't shy away from the dialogue. it is a courageous one, an important one we
